Summary of scientific research
As shown in the list of main publications, my academic activities have been devoted to the following fields and issues. a) Education and social public expenditure; b) Economic Development; c) Fiscal reforms; d) Argentine economic history; e) Hyperinflation and stabilization programs; f) Structure and functioning of labor markets. Underlying these varied fields is the development of an institutional economics / economic sociology approach, i.e. the study of the cultural and social matrix that encompasses the behavior of 'economic agents'.
