Riassunto dell’attività scientifica
Dedico le mie ricerche, le mie opere scritte e l'insegnamento a una serie di temi sovrapposti, in cui filosofia, teologia e diritto si intersecano. (1) diritto naturale, etica e filosofia politica, soprattutto nel pensiero di S. Tommaso d'Aquino; (2) teoria comparata della legge naturale - tra medievale e moderna, tra i moderni, e negli attuali sistemi giuridici e costituzionali; (3) dottrina sociale cattolica, dal XIX secolo ad oggi; (4) rapporti Stato-Chiesa, sia in Europa che in Nordamerica.
