Word of Welcome

+ Marcelo Sánchez Sorondo

I would like to thank everyone for coming and also for coming with the intention to work, because we celebrate work, and I would like to say that we are very interested in this reflection, because it is a real problem for the future and also for the present. What is the consequence of work for human dignity, as St John Paul II said in Laborem exercens. And today already we don’t have enough work, in many countries we have this problem, so I think this touches on one of the most important problems and I am very happy to arrive to make some contributions that can really provide some important inputs to the reflection.

Thank you very much for being here.
